Riviera Roots ("we", "us", "our") is a real estate practice operating on the French Riviera, offering real estate, renovation and property management services under the Riviera Roots Group. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and what rights you have over it — including when you contact us directly or through a Meta / Facebook / Instagram lead form.

1. Who operates Riviera Roots

Riviera Roots Group brings together three specialised teams — Real Estate, Renovation and Property Management — operating on the French Riviera. References to "Riviera Roots", "we", "us" or "our" throughout this policy mean Riviera Roots Group and the team you have contacted or submitted a request to.

2. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you get in touch with us, we may collect the following personal data:

• Your name;
• Your email address;
• Your phone number;
• Your preferred contact method (e.g. phone, email, WhatsApp);
• Information about the property you are looking for, buying, selling, renting or renovating (e.g. location, budget, property type, timing).

We only collect the data you choose to share with us through our contact forms, lead forms, email or phone.

3. How we use your data

We use the personal data described above to:

• Respond to your property enquiry;
• Provide you with relevant property, renovation or property-management information;
• Communicate with you about your request, including by phone, email or WhatsApp;
• Keep a record of our exchanges so we can follow up appropriately.

4. Data received through Meta, Facebook and Instagram lead forms

We may run advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) using Lead Ads. When you submit one of our lead forms on these platforms, Meta shares the information you provided (such as your name, email, phone number and any answers to qualifying questions) with us so that we can follow up on your enquiry. This data is then handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Meta's own handling of your data before it reaches us is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

5. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Third-party service providers

We may share personal data with trusted third-party service providers where necessary to operate our services — for example, website hosting, form-submission and email-delivery providers, and scheduling tools used to book calls. These providers only process data on our behalf, to the extent needed to provide their service, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
